The ACG’s preferred candidates are Sam MacDonald for the Council and Mike Wall for the Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood Community Board.
Sam has won the ACG’s support with his hard work, leadership and effective representation of the community’s concerns over the past three years as Deputy Chair and then Chair of the Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood Community Board. We consider that he has proven himself capable of performing successfully as Councillor for the Waimairi Ward.
Mike has been a steady supporter of the ACG in relation to NWRA3 and has valuable previous experience as Councillor. We regard him as a person who can ably represent the local community at the Community Board.
